Description
This bold statement ring is one in a series from my shield motif collection. It features a slightly curved ring top with rounded corners and beveled edges. Hammering, chasing and stamping with handmade tools give a distinct texture to the polished surface. I use a dark patina to bring out the patterns, giving the ring an antique finish. She is tube-set with a sparkling purple amethyst. Is it tribal, ancient, symbolic, modern? You decide.
